The Casseroles Stopped. Your Grief Didn’t

The dish somebody brought food in is clean, on the counter, still waiting to go back to its owner.

Three weeks in, the cards stopped arriving.

Six weeks in, someone asks how you’re doing, and you can hear which answer the question was built for. So you give them that one.

Meanwhile, you went back to work on schedule, handled the paperwork, and answered everyone else’s questions about what happens now.

Nobody asked what happens to you.

The Loss Nobody Sent You a Card For

A marriage that ended while both people were still standing.

A diagnosis that took a future you’d already furnished in your head.

Those get no service and no bereavement leave. The world files them under change and keeps moving.

Am I even allowed to call this grief?

You grieve them anyway, on holidays, on ordinary Tuesday afternoons, in songs you didn’t expect to hear.

A loss the world never named still gets to be a loss.

Your Loss Counts Here. Get Started Today

Why You’re Fine at Noon and Undone by Four

Grief runs on more than one track.

One part of you handled the arrangements and went back to work. Another part of you never got a turn.

In parts work, we get to know both of them, and we find out what each one has been holding since the day it happened.

What Changes When Your Grief Gets Room

The work is quieter than you’d expect, and nobody in the hour is checking a calendar.

  • Say the true version out loud without managing anyone’s reaction
  • Let a memory arrive without steeling yourself for what follows
  • Name what the loss changed about your ordinary day
  • Laugh at something and let the laugh stand
  • Make a plan for next year without calling it a betrayal

Remembering and living turn out to fit inside the same day.

How Your Grief Finally Gets a Turn

  1. 1

    Creating Safety

Every emotion gets to be in the room, including the ones you’ve kept quiet. We slow things down until your body finds moments of steadiness again.

Grief stops feeling like a mistake.

  2. 2

    Making Meaning

We look at what the loss changed about your identity, your routines, and the people around you, and you find which of your values came through it intact.

Who you are now starts taking shape.

  3. 3

    Living Forward

Plans for next year stop feeling like a betrayal. You reconnect with people, with work, and with the things that made life worth having.

    Joy arrives without an apology.

Why Trust Me as Your Partner in Healing

You Can Say the Unsentimental Parts

The resentment, the relief, the thought you’d never repeat at a dinner table: all of it is allowed in here.

Both Kinds of Loss Belong Here

I treat a death, a divorce, and a diagnosis as real losses, and you won’t have to explain to me why yours belongs on that list.

The Hard Parts Don’t Rattle Me

Nothing you say here will make me flinch or change the subject, and you never have to soften a detail to keep me comfortable.

Hi, I’m Tye.

Hi, I’m Tye.

One of the most important relationships you’ll ever have is the one you have with yourself.

When that relationship gets shaped by anxiety, by hard things that happened, or by years of putting everyone else first, your own voice is the first one you stop listening to. Helping women get that voice back is the work I care most about.

My aim in our sessions is simple. You shouldn’t have to pretend you’re okay, arrive with the answers, or manage how you’re coming across. Honesty is where everything starts, and honesty needs room.

In our work together, we’ll look at how your nervous system, your relationships, your beliefs, and the things you’ve lived through taught you to see yourself the way you do. Then we’ll work on what to do with that: practical skills, a kinder read on yourself, and a stronger line back to your own wisdom.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Grief that got postponed while you took care of everyone else tends to surface later, and later is a perfectly ordinary time to start.

Remembering gets easier here, not thinner. Nothing in this work asks you to set down the person or the chapter you loved.

There isn’t a correct sequence, and I don’t work from a stage model. What you’re doing is a response to having loved someone, and it doesn’t need correcting.

Yes. The end of a marriage, a diagnosis, a future that quietly stopped being available: those are losses, and they get worked with here the same way.

Then you fall apart with someone who won’t hurry you back together. All of this happens online, from your own house, and you don’t have to be presentable again by any particular time.
