About Therapy With Me

Come Home to Yourself

Healing is about coming home to the woman you already are.

Starting therapy feels vulnerable. You wonder whether your struggles are “big enough,” whether you’ll know what to say, or whether anyone could truly understand what you’ve been carrying.

You worry about being judged, about feeling overwhelmed by your emotions, about saying out loud the parts of your life you’ve kept hidden for years.

If you’re feeling that way, I want you to know you’re not alone.

Arrive Exactly As You Are

Therapy with me might feel different from what you expect.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you log into your first virtual session.

You don’t need to say the “right” things, have a perfect memory, or explain your entire life story during our first meeting.

We’ll simply begin where you are.

How We’ll Make Sense of What Shaped You

I believe that healing happens best in a relationship built on safety, curiosity, and compassion.

My role is to help you see yourself clearly so you can decide for yourself who you want to become. I’ll help you better understand yourself: your nervous system, life experiences, strengths, patterns, and the beliefs you’ve developed along the way.

Together, we’ll begin making sense of what has shaped you while gently building the skills and confidence to move toward the life you want. We move at your pace, and you’ll never be pushed toward territory you’re not ready for.

Your Trust in Yourself Can Be Rebuilt

Many of the women I work with have spent years believing they needed to be stronger, try harder, or somehow become a different person before they could finally feel at peace.

I see it differently. What these women have lost is trust in themselves.

Losing yourself and losing trust in yourself are two different things. That distinction matters.

Because if trust can be lost, it can also be rebuilt.

What You’ll Recognize in Yourself Again

Over time, you’ll make decisions with greater confidence.

Set boundaries that once felt impossible. Quiet the constant self-doubt. Feel more connected to your own needs, values, and voice.

You’ll discover that the woman you’ve been searching for was never truly gone. She was simply waiting for the opportunity to reconnect with herself.

This work is about creating a relationship with yourself that feels safe, compassionate, and authentic: one that allows you to move through life with greater confidence, peace, and freedom.

About Tye Sheller, MSW, LICSW

People often ask me why I’m so passionate about this work. The answer is simple: I believe that healing changes lives.

The past stays what it was. What healing changes is the relationship we have with ourselves.

My own healing journey has profoundly shaped both who I am and the therapist I’ve become.

It taught me that lasting change is about reconnecting with who you are beneath the fear, shame, self-doubt, and survival strategies that life sometimes asks us to carry. That understanding continues to influence everything I do, both personally and professionally.

Here’s a Little About My Training

As a licensed clinical social worker, I’m committed to lifelong learning. I’m continually studying the neuroscience of change, trauma recovery, attachment, identity, nervous system regulation, self-trust, and authentic living because I believe my clients deserve care that is both compassionate and grounded in current research.

Every new insight deepens my understanding of how people heal and strengthens the work we do together.

My undergraduate degree in social work and my Master of Social Work both come from Eastern Washington University. I hold an independent clinical social work license (LICSW) in Washington. I am based in Spokane and provide telehealth therapy to women throughout Washington State.

Here’s a Little About the Rest of My Life

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me outdoors, spending time in nature, reading, learning something new, or enjoying time with the people I love. Those moments keep me grounded and remind me of the simple things that bring meaning, connection, and joy to life.

Reach Out When You’re Ready

It would be a privilege to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself, rebuild trust in your own voice, and create a life that feels genuinely your own.

When you’re ready, send me a message, and we’ll find a time to talk.

Come Home to Yourself

Rebuilding trust in yourself doesn’t happen in a single conversation, and it doesn’t ask you to become a different person.

It starts with one honest hour, with someone who’s genuinely interested in what you think.

You don’t need a diagnosis, a plan, or a tidy explanation of what’s wrong before you reach out.

This time, the person you’re consulting is you. I’m here to help you hear the answer.

Reach out today, and we’ll find a time to talk. I’d love to hear your story and help you write what comes next.
